Comparison review
Galaxy Note8 is a little bit better than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, having a global score of 83 against 79.8. Both devices we compare here come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Note8 has 9.0 Pie version and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1. Galaxy Note8 is a newer cellphone than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, although it's just a bit thicker and a little heavier.
The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a CPU that's just as good as the Galaxy Note8 one, because although the Xperia Z5 Premium has 3 GB lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Xperia Z5 Premium features a way better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with way more pixels per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 3840 x 2160px.
The Xperia Z5 Premium has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for low-light images, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a way more mega pixels back camera and a larger sensor taking better quality videos and photos.
Galaxy Note8 features a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has more internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 256 GB. The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with just a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 is also a bargain compared to others, making buying this phone an easy decision.
