Comparison review
Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is slightly better than Xiaomi 12 Pro's score of 79.6. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note8 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi 12 Pro has Android 12, providing some extra features. The Galaxy Note8 construction is just a little lighter than the Xiaomi 12 Pro, but it is a little bit thicker and was released many years before.
Xiaomi 12 Pro features a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a bit greater display pixel density, a little bit higher 1440 x 3200 resolution and a bit larger screen. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a very superior processing unit than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has less RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores.
Xiaomi 12 Pro features a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a way bigger camera sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality, a much higher video definition and a back camera with lot more megapixels. Galaxy Note8 has just a bit bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory slot that admits up to 256 GB.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a much longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 39 percent more battery size.
