Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a bit better than the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, with a general score of 83 against 81. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi 12S Ultra has Android 12 version, providing a couple additional features and improved performance.
Xiaomi 12S Ultra features a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a bit larger screen, a bit greater pixels density and a quite better 1440 x 3200 resolution. The Xiaomi 12S Ultra counts with a superior storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Galaxy Note8 counts with a very superior processing unit than Xiaomi 12S Ultra, although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Xiaomi 12S Ultra features a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 45 percent larger battery size. The Xiaomi 12S Ultra shoots way better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a much bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a much better 7680x4320 video quality and a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels.
