Comparison review
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a general score of 84.4, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note8's score of 83. Both devices in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi 14 Ultra has the previous 14 version while Samsung Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Xiaomi 14 Ultra's design is much newer, but heavier and a bit thicker than Samsung Galaxy Note8.
Galaxy Note8 has a very superior CPU than Xiaomi 14 Ultra, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a more vivid display than Galaxy Note8, because it has a little bit larger display, a little bit more pixels per screen inch and a bit higher resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a much better camera than Galaxy Note8, because it has a way more MP back-facing camera, a larger diafragm aperture to take better captures in low light situations, a way better video quality and a larger back camera sensor which offers a better image and video quality. Xiaomi 14 Ultra counts with a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 52% more battery size.
