The Xiaomi Mi 8 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Note8, with a overall score of 83.3 against 83. The Xiaomi Mi 8 body is thinner and lighter than Galaxy Note8, even when both of them were released with only 9 months difference. Both phones we are comparing here have Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has the previous 10 version and Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie.

Galaxy Note8 features a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a better pixel amount in each inch of screen, a quite larger display and a higher 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution. The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage capacity.
