The Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi A2, with an 83 score against 78. Although it's the best cellphone in our current comparison, the Galaxy Note8 construction is older, thicker and somewhat heavier than the Xiaomi Mi A2. Samsung Galaxy Note8 has just a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi A2. Both of them have 8 CPU cores and 6 GB of RAM memory.
The Galaxy Note8 features a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi A2, because it has a little bigger display, a better 1440 x 2960 resolution and more pixels per inch of display. Xiaomi Mi A2 counts with a camera that's very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note8 one, and although the Xiaomi Mi A2 has a tinier sensor which offers a worse photo and video quality and a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light images and video, they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the same resolution camera in the back and the same 30 fps video frame rates.
The Galaxy Note8 counts with a slightly better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi A2, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with just a bit better battery life than Xiaomi Mi A2, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
