The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2's 77.5 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 body is just a little bit lighter but thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and both of them were only released 4 months apart. The Galaxy Note8 has a much better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher 1440 x 2960px resolution and a much higher screen pixel density.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a little faster processor than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a greater amount of RAM.
