Comparison review
Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's overall score of 81.2. Even being the best phone in this comparison review, we must tell that it's also thicker and a little heavier. Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a little bigger screen, a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a greater screen pixels density.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a way bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a little better processing power than Galaxy Note8. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.
The Galaxy Note8 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same (4K) video resolution and a back-facing camera with a 12 MP, the Galaxy Note8 also has a bigger sensor shooting higher quality videos and pictures and a larger aperture.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a little longer battery life than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 3% larger battery size.
