Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is a bit better than the Galaxy Note8, having an 83.8 score against 83. Although the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s and the Galaxy Note8 were released with only 7 months difference, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is just a bit lighter and a little thinner. Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, because it has a better 1440 x 2960px resolution, a quite bigger display and a better pixels count in each inch in the screen.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s has a little better processing power than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s counts with a much better memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Note8, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s features a bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 3400mAh battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 and the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s feature really similar cameras, and although the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for shooting photos or video in poorly lited environments, they both have a same size camera sensor, the same 3840x2160 video quality, the same video frame rates and a same resolution back-facing camera.
Although Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy Note8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Note8. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note8, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
