The Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2's 76 overall score. Although Galaxy Note8 is newer than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, it is somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, so it provides the user some extra features.
The Galaxy Note8 has a brighter display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a much better resolution of 1440 x 2960px, a greater screen pixel density and a bit bigger screen.
