Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is slightly better than Xiaomi Poco M3, having an 83 score against 78.2. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Poco M3 has Android 10. Samsung Galaxy Note8's body is somewhat thinner and a bit lighter than the Xiaomi Poco M3, although it was released many years before.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution.
Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a slightly better memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Poco M3 features a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for taking images or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also counts with a much more mega-pixels back facing camera and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor capturing way higher quality pictures.
Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Poco M3. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Xiaomi Poco M3, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
