Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note8, getting a general score of 83.4 against 83. These devices have Android OS, but the Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro has older 11 version and Samsung Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro is a a lot newer phone than the Samsung Galaxy Note8, but it's just a little heavier and just a little thicker.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 features just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better pixel number per screen inch and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro counts with a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note8. Both have 8 cores and a 6 GB RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro shoots better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for capturing images and video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro also counts with a camera with a much better 48 MP resolution and a much larger back camera sensor.
