Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi 9T's 78.2 score. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi 9T has Android 10 version, so it counts with a couple nice extra features. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 body is thinner and just a little lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi 9T, even though it was released many years before.

The Galaxy Note8 features a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Note8 has a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better screen pixels density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px.

The Xiaomi Redmi 9T counts with a much better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also counts with a much larger sensor and a back facing camera with lot more megapixels.

Xiaomi Redmi 9T has a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi 9T features a really longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
