Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10's 78.3 global score. The Galaxy Note8 is a older, a little bit heavier and a bit thicker cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but the Galaxy Note8 has 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 has Android 11 version.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 features a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a little worse display pixel density, it also counts with a bit larger screen. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 counts with a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light photography, it also counts with a much higher resolution back facing camera and a way larger sensor providing a lot better image quality. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 features a little bit better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 features a much better battery performance than Galaxy Note8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
