Comparison review
The Galaxy Note8 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, getting an 83 score against 79.5. Galaxy Note8 is a older and a little heavier phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, but Samsung made it a little bit thinner anyway. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note8 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G has Android 11 version, so it provides some nice extra features and performance improvements.
Galaxy Note8 features a bit superior processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixel density and a higher 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution.
Galaxy Note8 has a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Note8 also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G has a much better battery duration than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 3300mAh.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G's camera is very similar to Samsung Galaxy Note8's camera, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light photos and videos, it also counts with a back camera with a way higher 48 mega pixels resolution and a way larger sensor which offers a much better photo and video quality.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
