Comparison review
Galaxy Note8 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro, with an 83 score against 82.4. These devices use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro has Android 11 version, offering some nice extra features and increased performance. The Galaxy Note8 is a better cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro, we must highlight that it is also much older, just a bit thicker and a bit heavier.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro's processing unit is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note8 one, they have a 6 GB RAM and 8 cpu cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro has a bit better screen than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a way worse 1080 x 2400 resolution and a quite worse count of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a little bigger screen.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro shoots much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro also counts with a lot more megapixels back facing camera. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro counts with just a bit more memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro also has a SD card slot that holds up to 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro has a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note8, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro, letting go a couple features and specs.
