Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro's 75.7 general score. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12, so it gives you a couple nice extra features. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 design is a lot older, just a little bit heavier and a little bit thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a way better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. Both have 6 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a screen that's just as good as the Galaxy Note8 one, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a just a little less pixels per screen inch and a way worse 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little bit larger display.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a very superior camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing photos or videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a camera with a way better resolution and a lot larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 256 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
