Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro's 77.2 general score. Both of these devices have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has Android 8.1 Oreo version, so it gives some extra features and performance enhancements. Although it's the best we compare here, Samsung Galaxy Note8's design is older, just a little heavier and a little bit thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro.
The Galaxy Note8 has a bit better processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro. Both of them have 6 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core CPU. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and although they both have a same size display, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and a better number of pixels per inch of display.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features as much memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as the Galaxy Note8, both of them have a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 256 GB and exactly the same internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features improved battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
The Galaxy Note8 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and although they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size and a same resolution back facing camera, the Galaxy Note8 also has a bigger aperture and a lot higher video definition.
