Comparison review
The Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7's 80.3 global score. Despite being the best in this review, we must note that it is also older, a bit heavier and just a little thicker. Galaxy Note8 features just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Note8 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a higher 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and more pixels per inch of display. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs in low light environments, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also counts with a lot bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, better 120 fps video frame rates and a lot higher resolution camera in the back.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 counts with a very superior memory for apps and games than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 256 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has 128 GB internal memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 counts with superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
