Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, with a score of 83 against 76.6. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is an older cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but it's a bit thinner and a little bit lighter anyway. Both phones we are comparing here include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version.
The Galaxy Note8 features a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a higher pixels amount in each inch of display. Galaxy Note8 features slightly more storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Note8 also has a SD card slot that allows up to 256 GB.

Galaxy Note8 is way more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
