The Galaxy Note8 has an overall score of 83, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T's 83 score. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has Android 10. Although Galaxy Note8 is older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, it's construction is just a little lighter and a little bit thinner.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T's processing unit is very similar to Samsung Galaxy Note8's processing unit, and although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Galaxy Note8 counts with just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a greater number of pixels per screen inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light images and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T also counts with a back facing camera with lot more MP and a lot larger camera sensor providing a much better image quality.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T counts with slightly more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T also has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has a really longer battery performance than Galaxy Note8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
