The Xperia Z has a general score of 67.3, which is slightly better than the Galaxy S II CDMA's general score of 61.6. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the Xperia Z has newer 4.4.4 version while Galaxy S II CDMA has Android 2.3 version, providing you some nice extra features. Xperia Z is a newer and somewhat thinner cellphone than Galaxy S II CDMA, but it's also somewhat heavier.
