The HTC One (M8) is a little bit better than the Galaxy S II, getting a overall score of 71.6 against 65.4. HTC One (M8)'s design is way newer than Galaxy S II's, but it is much heavier and thicker. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but HTC One (M8) has newer 4.4.4 version and Galaxy S II has Android 4.1.2 version, giving some additional features and enhanced performance.

HTC One (M8) features a much more vibrant screen than Samsung Galaxy S II, because it has a much higher display pixel density, a bigger display and a much better 1920 x 1080px resolution. HTC One (M8) counts with a superior performance than Samsung Galaxy S II, because it has more cores, a greater amount of RAM memory and a much better GPU.

The HTC One (M8) has a greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S II, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the HTC One (M8) also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 128 GB. The HTC One (M8) has a very superior battery life than Galaxy S II, because it has 2600mAh of battery capacity instead of 1650mAh.

HTC One (M8)'s camera is very similar to the camera in Samsung Galaxy S II, because although the HTC One (M8) has a way less mega pixels resolution back-facing camera and a worse video resolution, it also counts with a larger sensor and a way bigger aperture.

Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, the HTC One (M8) is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes this phone a no doubt choice.
