Comparison review

Galaxy S III is slightly better than Galaxy S II LTE, getting a score of 69.7 against 66. These devices have Android OS, but Galaxy S III has a more recent 4.3 version while Galaxy S II LTE has Android 2.3, so it provides the user some nice extra features. Even though Galaxy S III and the Galaxy S II LTE were released with only 8 months difference, Galaxy S III's construction is a little bit heavier but just a little thinner than the Galaxy S II LTE.

The Samsung Galaxy S III has a better performing CPU than Galaxy S II LTE, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy S III also has an additional graphics processing unit and 2 more cpu cores (although they are slower). The Samsung Galaxy S III has a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy S II LTE, because it has a little bigger display, a higher screen density and a much higher 1280 x 720 resolution.

Galaxy S III counts with a little bit more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S II LTE, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy S III also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB. Samsung Galaxy S III captures much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S II LTE, and although they both have a back facing camera with an 8 MP, the same video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy S III also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality.

Galaxy S III has a bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S II LTE, because it has a 14% bigger battery capacity.

Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, Galaxy S III is also cheaper than the Galaxy S II LTE.
