Moto Z3 is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S III, with a overall score of 77.6 against 70.8. These phones use Android OS, but the Moto Z3 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy S III has Android 4.4.2 version. The Moto Z3 design is way newer and thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S III's, although it's somewhat heavier.
The Moto Z3 features a superior hardware performance than Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with 6 more processing cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Galaxy S III has a little sharper display than Motorola Moto Z3, although it has a little bit worse count of pixels per inch in the screen, a way smaller display and a way worse 1280 x 720 resolution.
Motorola Moto Z3 has a much better camera than Galaxy S III, because it has a larger camera sensor, a camera in the back with lot more megapixels, a way larger camera aperture to capture better low-light photography and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition. The Motorola Moto Z3 has much more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB and 48 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Moto Z3 features a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy S III, because it has a 3000mAh battery size.
