Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a score of 81.2, which is much better than the Galaxy S III's 69.7 score. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a newer and just a bit thinner device than Galaxy S III, but it is much heavier. Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a more recent 5.0 version and Galaxy S III has Android 4.3, providing the user a couple nice extra features and better performance.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a little better performance than Galaxy S III, because although it has a weaker GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Note 3 features a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a way higher 1920 x 1080px resolution, a greater quantity of pixels per inch of display and a bigger screen.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with much more storage to install games and applications than Galaxy S III, and although they both have an external memory card slot that allows up to 64 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also has 64 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a better camera than Galaxy S III, because although it has a tinier sensor which gives a lower image and video quality, it also counts with a lot higher (4K) video quality, a lot higher 13 MP resolution back-facing camera and a larger aperture to take better photography in poorly lited environments.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S III, because it has a 3200mAh battery size.

The Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy S III cost exactly the same, which makes this phone an easy choice.
