Galaxy A50 has a score of 83.8, which is better than Galaxy S III's overall score of 71. Even though Galaxy A50 is somewhat heavier than Galaxy S III, it's somewhat thinner and also a lot newer. The Samsung Galaxy S III has a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A50, although it has a just a little worse display density, a lot worse 1280 x 720px resolution and a much smaller screen.

The Galaxy A50 counts with just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with more CPU cores and more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy A50 has a better camera than Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also has a much more megapixels back-facing camera, a larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a lot bigger aperture for better low light photos and video.

Galaxy A50 counts with a much greater memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy A50 has a superior battery duration than Galaxy S III, because it has a 90% larger battery capacity.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Galaxy A50 is also a bit cheaper.
