Comparison review
HTC One M9 is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S III, getting a global score of 77.7 against 72.1. HTC One M9 is a notably newer phone than the Samsung Galaxy S III, although it's heavier and somewhat thicker. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but the HTC One M9 has newer 5.0 version while Samsung Galaxy S III has Android 4.4.2, so it counts with some nice extra features and some performance improvements.
The HTC One M9 features a faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a much better graphics processor working at 600 megahertz, a greater amount of RAM, a 64-bits processing unit and a higher number of faster cores. The HTC One M9 counts with a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a bit bigger screen, more pixels per inch in the screen and a much better resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The HTC One M9 takes much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a camera in the back with a way higher 20 megapixels resolution, a way larger camera sensor taking much higher quality videos and photos, a much higher (4K) video quality and a bigger aperture to capture better photos in low light environments.
HTC One M9 counts with a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage, the HTC One M9 also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB. HTC One M9 has a really longer battery life than Galaxy S III, because it has 2840mAh of battery capacity instead of 2100mAh.
The HTC One M9 costs a little more money than Galaxy S III, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
