The Samsung Galaxy A6 is just a bit better than the Galaxy S III, getting a general score of 75.8 against 72.1. Even though the Samsung Galaxy A6 is heavier than the Galaxy S III, it's somewhat thinner and also noticeably newer. Samsung Galaxy A6 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with more RAM and a higher number of cores (and faster).

The Galaxy S III counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy A6, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1280 x 720, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch in the display. Samsung Galaxy A6 features a superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S III, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A6 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 400 GB.

Samsung Galaxy A6 counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy A6 also has a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality, a much bigger diafragm aperture and a much more megapixels camera.

The Galaxy A6 counts with a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity instead of 2100mAh.
