Both phones in this review have Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Poco M3 has older 10 version while Galaxy S III has Android 4.4.2. Although the Xiaomi Poco M3 is extremely newer than the Galaxy S III, it is incredibly heavier and thicker.
Xiaomi Poco M3 has a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores. Samsung Galaxy S III features a little bit better display than Xiaomi Poco M3, although it has a lot worse resolution of 1280 x 720, a lot smaller display and a bit less pixels per screen inch.
Xiaomi Poco M3 shoots a lot better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a way larger camera aperture to capture better low-light captures and videos, a lot bigger back camera sensor providing a way higher image quality and a much more megapixels back facing camera.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 has a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Galaxy S III, because it has a SD extension slot that admits up to 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory. Xiaomi Poco M3 features a much longer battery life than Galaxy S III, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
