Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has an overall score of 85.7, which is better than Galaxy S III's 72.1 global score. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a a lot newer cellphone, and it is also just a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner than Galaxy S III. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a more recent 5.0 version while Galaxy S III has Android 4.1.2, giving a couple nice extra features.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a way better screen than Galaxy S III, because it has a much higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a little larger display and a way greater amount of pixels per display inch. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a better performing CPU than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a much better graphics processing unit running at 650 MHz, more RAM, a larger number of faster cores and a 64 bits processing unit.

Galaxy S6 Edge's camera is just as good as the camera in Samsung Galaxy S III, although the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a way bigger aperture for better images and video in low light situations, a bigger back camera sensor shooting better quality photographs and videos, a way higher (4K) video definition and a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with much more memory for games and applications than Galaxy S III, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. Galaxy S6 Edge counts with superior battery life than Galaxy S III, because it has 2600mAh of battery capacity instead of 2100mAh.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge costs a bit more money than Galaxy S III, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
