Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 lite has an overall score of 76.2, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T's general score of 72.2. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 20 lite has 8.1 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T has Android 4.3. The Huawei Mate 20 lite construction is a lot newer and thinner, but incredibly heavier than Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T.
The Galaxy S III AT&T features a little bit better display than Huawei Mate 20 lite, although it has a much smaller display, a much worse screen density and a lot lower resolution of 1280 x 720. Huawei Mate 20 lite features a little better performance than Galaxy S III AT&T, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and they are faster) and a greater amount of RAM.
Huawei Mate 20 lite has a much bigger memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T, because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB. Huawei Mate 20 lite counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S III AT&T, because it has a 3750mAh battery size.
Huawei Mate 20 lite captures better photographs and videos than Galaxy S III AT&T, and although they both have the same video quality, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has a much larger aperture to capture better photography in low-light situations, a lot better 20 mega pixels resolution back camera and faster 60 frames per second video frame rate.
