The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T, with a overall score of 78.7 against 72.2. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a noticeably newer and thinner phone than Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T, although it's also noticeably heavier. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T has Android 4.3 version, providing you a couple nice extra features.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a quite superior processing power than Galaxy S III AT&T, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and more cores. Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little more vivid display than Galaxy S III AT&T, because it has a much greater screen pixels density, a way better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a little larger display.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features much more storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S III AT&T, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2100mAh.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a better camera than Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T, because it has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better photography and video in low-light situations, a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels, a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
