Both of these phones include Android OS, but the LG G5 has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Galaxy S III AT&T has Android 4.3, so it offers some nice extra features and performance improvements. The LG G5 design is extremely newer and somewhat thinner, but also heavier than the Galaxy S III AT&T.
