The Samsung Galaxy A31 has an overall score of 81.3, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T's 72.2 global score. These phones include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A31 has a newer 10 version and Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T has Android 4.3 version, so it gives some nice extra features. Samsung Galaxy A31 is a much heavier phone than the Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T, but both have the same thickness.

Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T has just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy A31, although it has a much lower resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a much smaller screen and a way lower quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen. The Galaxy A31 has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of cores (and also faster).

Samsung Galaxy A31 has a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S III AT&T, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy A31 has a much better camera than Galaxy S III AT&T, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy A31 also has a way better resolution back-facing camera, a lot bigger aperture and a lot larger back camera sensor providing a much better image quality.

The Samsung Galaxy A31 features a way better battery duration than Galaxy S III AT&T, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
