Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A51 has a more recent 11 version and Galaxy S III AT&T has Android 4.3 version, so it provides the user some nice extra features.

The Galaxy S III AT&T features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy A51, although it has a much smaller screen, a bit lower display density and a way worse resolution of 1280 x 720px. The Galaxy A51 has a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with more cores and a greater amount of RAM.

Galaxy A51 takes way better pictures and videos than Galaxy S III AT&T, because it has a lot bigger camera sensor shooting much higher quality photographs and videos, a way better (4K) video definition, a much bigger aperture to take better low-light photos and video and a back facing camera with a way better 48 MP resolution.
