The Samsung Galaxy Alpha has an overall score of 76.3, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T's general score of 72.2. Both phones in our current comparison include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Alpha has 4.4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T has Android 4.3, so it gives a lot of extra features. Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a somewhat lighter and a lot thinner cellphone than the Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T.
Galaxy Alpha counts with a superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy Alpha also has a higher number of faster cores and a much better graphics processing unit running at 450 megahertz. The Galaxy Alpha has a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1280 x 720px resolution, the Galaxy Alpha also counts with a bit better screen density.
Galaxy Alpha counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T, because it has a lot better video quality, a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photos and a back camera with way more mega-pixels. Galaxy S III AT&T features slightly more memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because although it has only 16 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports up to 64 GB.
Samsung Galaxy S III AT&T features a bit superior battery duration than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 2100mAh of battery capacity against 1860mAh.
