IPhone 12 has a general score of 88.7, which is better than the Galaxy S III's 74.8 global score. The iPhone 12 works with iOS 15.x operating system, and Galaxy S III comes with Android 4.3 operating system. The iPhone 12 is a incredibly newer and somewhat thinner phone than the Galaxy S III, although it's also heavier.
The iPhone 12 has a better CPU than Samsung Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM, a higher number of cores (and they are faster) and a 64 bits processor. Apple iPhone 12 has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy S III, because it has a larger screen, a greater pixels count in each inch in the screen, way more brightness and a lot higher 1170 x 2532 pixels resolution.
IPhone 12 captures much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a camera with a much higher resolution and a much larger aperture to take better low light photography. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the iPhone 12, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy S III, giving up a couple features and specs.
