Galaxy S III is a bit better than the iPhone 6, getting a overall score of 74.8 against 74.1. Although it's the best in this comparison review, the Galaxy S III body is a lot older, extremely thicker and a little bit heavier than the iPhone 6. Galaxy S III comes with Android 4.3 OS, while iPhone 6 has iOS 8.x OS.

The iPhone 6 counts with a little bit better looking display than Galaxy S III, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher 1334 x 750 pixels resolution, a really brighter screen and a little greater pixel quantity per display inch. Apple iPhone 6 has a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy S III, because although it has a weaker graphics co-processor, a lower amount of RAM memory and less 1.4 GHz cores, it also counts with a 64-bit processor.

The iPhone 6 counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy S III, and although they both have a camera with an 8 megapixels, the same (Full HD) video quality and a same size sensor, the iPhone 6 also has better video frame rates and a bigger aperture to take better low-light images and video. The Galaxy S III has a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than iPhone 6, because it has 16 GB more internal storage and an external memory slot that holds up to 64 GB.

Samsung Galaxy S III features just a bit longer battery duration than iPhone 6, because it has a 16% larger battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy S III is a better device, it costs a bit more than Apple iPhone 6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Apple iPhone 6. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Apple iPhone 6, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
