IPhone 6 Plus has a global score of 80.4, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S III's general score of 74.8. IPhone 6 Plus's body is much newer and thinner, but also notably heavier than Samsung Galaxy S III. The iPhone 6 Plus has iOS 8.x OS, while Samsung Galaxy S III has Android 4.3 OS.

IPhone 6 Plus has just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S III, because although it has 2 lesser 1400 MHz CPU cores, a slower 450 megahertz graphics processing unit and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit. IPhone 6 Plus features a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy S III, because it has more pixels per inch in the display, a much higher 1920 x 1080 resolution, a little larger display and a really brighter display.

If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S III, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
