IPhone 6 Plus has a global score of 80.4, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S III's general score of 74.8. IPhone 6 Plus's body is much newer and thinner, but also notably heavier than Samsung Galaxy S III. The iPhone 6 Plus has iOS 8.x OS, while Samsung Galaxy S III has Android 4.3 OS.
IPhone 6 Plus has just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S III, because although it has 2 lesser 1400 MHz CPU cores, a slower 450 megahertz graphics processing unit and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit. IPhone 6 Plus features a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy S III, because it has more pixels per inch in the display, a much higher 1920 x 1080 resolution, a little larger display and a really brighter display.
IPhone 6 Plus counts with a much better storage for apps and games than Galaxy S III, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The iPhone 6 Plus takes a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same video definition, a same size back camera sensor and a camera in the back with an 8 MP resolution, the iPhone 6 Plus also has faster video frame rates and a bigger aperture for better images in poorly lited situations.
The Apple iPhone 6 Plus has a much longer battery performance than Galaxy S III, because it has a 2915mAh battery capacity.
Although iPhone 6 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S III. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S III, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
