The Apple iPhone SE (2020) is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S III, with a global score of 81.5 against 74.8. Apple iPhone SE (2020) has iOS 15.x operating system, while Samsung Galaxy S III comes with Android 4.3 operating system. Even though Apple iPhone SE (2020) is somewhat heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S III, it's thinner and also extremely newer.
IPhone SE (2020) has a quite superior hardware performance than Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit, more cpu cores and more RAM. Galaxy S III counts with a bit better display than iPhone SE (2020), because although it has much lower brightness, a just a bit lower pixels amount per inch of screen and a quite lower resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, it also counts with a bit larger screen.
The Apple iPhone SE (2020) takes much better videos and photos than Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same back camera sensor size, the Apple iPhone SE (2020) also has a much better video definition, a way larger aperture for better low-light captures and a back-facing camera with a way higher 12 mega-pixels resolution.
The iPhone SE (2020) features a little bit more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S III, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The Galaxy S III counts with a bit superior battery duration than Apple iPhone SE (2020), because it has a 15% larger battery size.
Although Apple iPhone SE (2020) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S III. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Apple iPhone SE (2020), but if you don't you can save some money and get the Galaxy S III, giving up a couple features and specs.
