The Google Pixel body has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy S III, but it is a little bit heavier. The Galaxy S III counts with a bit better screen than Google Pixel, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a much lower pixels number per inch in the screen and a much lower 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.

Google Pixel counts with a very superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S III, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy S III has a bit better processing power than Google Pixel, because although it has 2 GB less RAM, and they both have 4 cpu cores, the Galaxy S III also counts with an extra GPU.

The Google Pixel features longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has 2770mAh of battery capacity against 2100mAh. The Google Pixel features a superior camera than Galaxy S III, because it has a lot better 12.3 megapixels resolution back-facing camera, a much bigger camera sensor, a lot higher 3840x2160 video quality and a much bigger aperture to take better photography in low-light environments.

Although Google Pixel is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S III. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy S III, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
