Comparison review

The Google Pixel 4a has a global score of 82.9, which is much better than the Galaxy S III's 74.8 overall score. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Google Pixel 4a has newer 11 version while Galaxy S III has Android 4.3, so it offers a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks. The Google Pixel 4a construction is noticeably newer and a little thinner, but a bit heavier than Galaxy S III.

Google Pixel 4a counts with a bit better performance than Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and 4 more cpu cores. Galaxy S III has a little sharper display than Google Pixel 4a, although it has a bit smaller screen, a lot worse 1280 x 720 resolution and a much worse pixels density.

The Google Pixel 4a has much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S III, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Google Pixel 4a shoots much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S III, because it has a lot bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photos and videos, a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back-facing camera with a much better 12.2 mega-pixels resolution.

Google Pixel 4a features a much better battery life than Galaxy S III, because it has a 50 percent bigger battery size.

Google Pixel 4a is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S III, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
