The HTC One M9 has a global score of 77.7, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S III's 74.8 general score. HTC One M9 is a newer cellphone than the Samsung Galaxy S III, but it is thicker and heavier. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but HTC One M9 has a newer 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy S III has Android 4.3, so it gives a couple nice extra features.

HTC One M9 features a better performing processing unit than Galaxy S III, because although it has a weaker GPU running at 600 MHz, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory, a 64-bit CPU and 4 more processing cores. HTC One M9 has a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a little bit bigger screen, more pixels per inch in the display and a lot better resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

HTC One M9 counts with a bit bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage, the HTC One M9 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
