Comparison review
The HTC One M9 has a global score of 77.7, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S III's 74.8 general score. HTC One M9 is a newer cellphone than the Samsung Galaxy S III, but it is thicker and heavier. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but HTC One M9 has a newer 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy S III has Android 4.3, so it gives a couple nice extra features.
HTC One M9 features a better performing processing unit than Galaxy S III, because although it has a weaker GPU running at 600 MHz, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory, a 64-bit CPU and 4 more processing cores. HTC One M9 has a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a little bit bigger screen, more pixels per inch in the display and a lot better resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
HTC One M9 counts with a bit bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage, the HTC One M9 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 128 GB. The HTC One M9 captures much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a much higher (4K) video quality, a bigger aperture, a back camera with a way higher resolution and a lot larger sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and photos.
The HTC One M9 counts with a very superior battery performance than Galaxy S III, because it has a 2840mAh battery capacity instead of 2100mAh.
The HTC One M9 not only is the best phones in our current comparison, but it's also cheap compared to the other phone, making this phone a simple decision.
