The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a score of 90.9, which is way better than the Samsung Galaxy S III's 74.8 overall score. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a way newer device than the Samsung Galaxy S III, although it's a little thicker and notably heavier. Both phones in this review have Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a newer 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S III has Android 4.3 version, offering lots of additional features and optimized performance.

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S III counts with just a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, although it has a way worse resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a lot smaller display and a lot less pixels per display inch.

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a very superior memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy S III, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro shoots a lot better pictures and videos than Galaxy S III, because it has a back camera with much more megapixels, a way larger sensor, a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a lot larger aperture to take better images and video in low-light situations.

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a very superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a 110 percent larger battery size.
