Comparison review

Huawei Mate 8 is just a bit better than Galaxy S III, getting a score of 77.4 against 74.8. Huawei Mate 8 is a much newer and a little bit thinner phone than Galaxy S III, although it's a lot heavier. Huawei Mate 8 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with 2 GB more RAM memory and a higher number of cores.

Samsung Galaxy S III has just a bit better screen than Huawei Mate 8, although it has a way lower resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a much smaller screen and a little bit less pixels per display inch. The Huawei Mate 8 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a way larger aperture for better low-light images and videos, better 60 fps video frame rates and a lot better 16 mega-pixels resolution camera.

The Huawei Mate 8 features a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy S III, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 128 GB and 96 GB more internal memory. The Huawei Mate 8 features a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 2100mAh.

Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S III. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 8, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy S III, resigning some specs and features.
