Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X has an overall score of 89.4, which is much better than the Galaxy S III's 74.8 overall score. Both phones we are comparing include Android operating system, but Huawei Mate X has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy S III has Android 4.3 version. The Huawei Mate X design is newer, but extremely heavier and much thicker than Galaxy S III.
The Samsung Galaxy S III features a little bit better looking display than Huawei Mate X, although it has a lot smaller screen, a lot lower 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and a much lower pixels number per screen inch. The Huawei Mate X has a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and 4 more cores.
The Huawei Mate X has a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy S III, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate X takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy S III, because it has a way better 40 mega pixels resolution back camera, a lot larger diafragm aperture for better low-light captures and a much larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Huawei Mate X features a much better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S III. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy S III, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
