The Huawei P40 has a general score of 86.4, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy S III's global score of 74.8. Huawei P40's design is newer and just a bit thinner, but also a lot heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S III. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei P40 has 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S III has Android 4.3 version, so it provides the user some nice extra features and performance enhancements.

The Samsung Galaxy S III features just a bit better screen than Huawei P40, although it has a lot lower pixels density, a lot worse resolution of 1280 x 720px and a way smaller display. The Huawei P40 features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.

The Huawei P40 counts with a much better storage for games and applications than Galaxy S III, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. Huawei P40 features a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a much larger camera sensor taking much higher quality videos and pictures, a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels and a way bigger camera aperture for better low-light photos.

The Huawei P40 has a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S III, because it has an 81% bigger battery capacity.

The Huawei P40 is more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S III, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
