Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface Duo is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S III, with a 78.8 score against 74.8. These devices come with Android operating system, but Microsoft Surface Duo has a newer 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S III has Android 4.3 version, providing a couple nice extra features and performance enhancements. The Microsoft Surface Duo body is noticeably newer and extremely thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S III's, but it is noticeably heavier.

The Microsoft Surface Duo has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with more processing cores and a larger amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S III has a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface Duo, although it has a way worse resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a bit lower screen pixel density and a really smaller screen.

The Microsoft Surface Duo shoots a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy S III, because it has a way more megapixels camera, a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a lot bigger diafragm aperture. The Microsoft Surface Duo features a superior storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S III, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

Microsoft Surface Duo has a much better battery duration than Galaxy S III, because it has 3577mAh of battery capacity instead of 2100mAh.

Although Microsoft Surface Duo is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S III. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Galaxy S III, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
