Motorola edge has an overall score of 89.6, which is much better than Galaxy S III's score of 74.8. Although Motorola edge is much newer than Galaxy S III, it is a lot heavier and just a little bit thicker. These phones have Android operating system, but the Motorola edge has newer 10 version while Galaxy S III has Android 4.3 version, so it gives lots of additional features and optimized performance.

The Samsung Galaxy S III features just a bit better looking screen than Motorola edge, although it has a bit less pixels per display inch, a lot worse 1280 x 720 resolution and a much smaller display. The Motorola edge counts with a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S III, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1000 GB.

The Motorola edge has a bit better performance than Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and a higher number of cores (and faster). The Motorola edge shoots much better photographs and videos than Galaxy S III, because it has a lot bigger camera sensor, a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels, a way bigger aperture for better low light images and a much better 3840x2160 video quality.

Motorola edge counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S III, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.

Motorola edge costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy S III, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
